The Madrid-based artist 2EmptyBoy needed a video that integrated 3D graphics and VFX for the release of his song “100s”.

The video was directed by El Bicho del Sil, who had the vision of mixing an electric blue atmosphere with cheesy yellow overlays, following the story of the song.

On the animation side, we wanted to have a secondary story line, in which a rat goes around the room collecting cheese slices. The project involved modelling and animating our pet and integrating it in some scenes across the video.

The Result: 100

With a team that involved Marya S. Morato as a still photographer and some good fellas on the props and acting, we got to this final clip.

El Bicho del Sil was in charge of the direction, filming, editing, VFXs and colouring, whereas MXNK was the man on the animation side, looking after the texturing, lighting and rendering of the scenes.

S/O to 2EmptyBoy for the unique way he takes on his music and for counting on us for this project.
